At least 100 houses were turned into debris due to heavy landsliding in Dana Kachilli area, 48 kilometers away from Muzaffarabad of Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) here on Sunday.
Deputy Commissioner Muzaffarabad district, Masoodur Rehman said landsliding is continued since last three days in the area.
However, no casualty was reported in the incident as residents managed to escape from their houses before landsliding.
The recent incident resulted 1200 persons lost houses which were now residing in neighbours’ houses and an old government building.
