LAHORE: A pair of kangaroos died of health complications at the Lahore Zoo.
Officials said that the male kangaroo had some jaw infection which led to his death. The female kangaroo had been unwell for a long time and finally died at the zoo, they added.
The officials claimed that the ailing couple was provided medial treatment but in vain.
Earlier on Wednesday, a lion had died of cardiac arrest at the Karachi Zoo. According to the director of the zoo, the animal died of old age. He added that average life of a lion is normally 18 years.
