LAHORE: A gun attack inside a Lahore bank killed three people with initial investigation revealing that the attacker was a college accountant who came up with a bogus cheque and a firearm inside the branch.
According to details, a firing incident claimed lives of three bankers including the operations manager of the branch on Thursday.
The incident, apparently a robbery attempt gone wrong was later dubbed solely an attempted murder incident as the culprit was recognised by many inside the bank as a science college accountant namely Abdullah.
Police sources claim that the culprit came up with a bogus cheque in the operations manger’s room and later gunshots were heard leaving the manager dead on the spot.
While the attacker came out and randomly opened fire on bank staff leaving two more staffers dead and several injured.
Abdullah got a little injured due to retaliatory firing by a security guard.

Later, police claimed to have killed Abdullah in an alleged encounter in Shera Kot area.
