LONDON: Kulsoom Nawaz, the wife of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has been diagnosed with throat cancer, her doctors said here on Tuesday.
Kulsoom Nawaz last week went to London for treatment where doctors diagnosed throat cancer, sources said.
The PML-N candidate on Lahore’s NA-120 seat by-poll would not be able to run her election campaign due to her illness.
British doctors says Kulsoom’s throat cancer is curable. They would begin her treatment in a next few days.
Maryam Nawaz, her daughter, would run the election campaign in NA-120.
