KSE-100 index up by 70 points

KARACHI: KSE-100 index gained 69.91 points here on Monday. The market closed at 33,304.64.

Intense volatility is witnessed in the market on Monday in connecting with Chinese president visit and investment projects sighed by Pakistan and China.

KSE-100 index gained 419 points but later on dipped due to profit taking. The index closed above 33,300 level for the first time since March 5, 2015.

Foreign investors were net buyers of 1.81 million dollars worth equity. Local investors were also active with companies and banks. Experts said that late profit-taking was seen in all but particularly in cement stocks.
