KARACHI: “The Democrats” panel has announced its 12-member panel for the upcoming Karachi Press Club elections for 2018 here.
Senior journalist Siraj Ahmed has been nominated as a candidate for the office of President, Syed Minhaj Ur Rub for Vice-President, Moosa Kaleem for Treasurer, Maqsood Ahmed Yousufi for General Secretary and Naimat Khan for Joint Secretary.
The Governor Body candidates are: Shazia Hasan, Saeed Sarbazi, Naeem Akbar Sahoutara, Shams Keerio, Kafeel Uddin Faizan, Arif Hussain Hashmi and Abdul Hasan.
The polling will be held on Dec 30 from 9am to 5pm without any break.
Dr Touseef Ahmed Khan has been appointed as Chief Election Commissioner for the polling.
