Polling timings concluded during Local Bodies’ election across 24 districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province held on Saturday (today).
Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has organised non-party based election at Village and Neighbourhood Councils levels whereas party based election has held at Tehsil and District Council levels.
As many as 84,420 candidates are in the field for 41,762 seats.
Around 11,211 polling stations have been set-up where more than 13 million registered voters are electing their representatives.Of whom 7,494,000 are male voters and 5,638,000 female voters.
Stringent security arrangements have been made for the elections.
