PESHAWAR: Provincial cabinet met with Chief Minister, Pervez Khattak in the chair, approved annual budget for the fiscal year 2016-17 here on Tuesday.
The budget total outlay was Rs. 505 billion and no new tax has been proposed in the budget, Mushtaq Ghani Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information told newsmen while briefing about the the details of the budget.
In the new budget, he continued, a special fund has also been earmarked for the welfare of transgender community of the province for the first time in the budget history of Khyber Pakhtunkhaw.
