KP already getting more than its quota of power supply: Abid

FAISALABAD: Federal Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali on Monday accused the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government of not co-operating in payment of electricity bills.

Reacting over the attack on a PESCO mobile, Ali said that 193 out of 650 PESCO feeders are completely exempted from load shedding while Taro Jabba has more than 80 percent line losses.

The minister while maintaining that the KP government is aware of the situation but the provincial government is still not co-operating in ensuring payments.

He further claimed that KP is already getting more than its quota of power supply.
