Korean Air plane catches on fire before takeoff in Japan

Scared passengers and crew were safely evacuated from a Korean Air Boeing 777 on Friday after and apparent engine fire.

As per details, the jet with 302 passengers and 17 crew members, was ready to takeoff, but suddenly caught fire at Haneda Airport in Toyko.

The live images from the scene showed firefighters spraying white foam onto the engine as smoke billowed from the jet.

Flights in and out of Haneda Airport have been cancelled, according to Sky News.

Emergency slides were deployed from the plane to get the passengers and the crew off safely.
