“King Khan” smashes sixth double century

THE OVAL: The 38-year-old Younis Khan alias “King Khan” thrilled the spectators after completing his sixth double century against England on Saturday at The Oval during fourth and final Test match.

Younis Khan is currently standing on the crease with not out 203 runs after a controlled inning played with Asad Shafiq who smashed century to provide a solid stand to Pakistan.

King Khan completed six double centuries during his career between 2000-2016 in which he played 108 matches and 193 innings while he scored 9443 runs.

Khan made his triple centuries once in his career at National Stadium, Karachi in 2009. The batting great became the fourth Pakistani batsman who made double centuries after Javed Miandad, Zaheer Abbas and Mohammad Yousuf.
