Lahore Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested a alleged accused in the Zainab murder case.
According to police, the accused, whose identity has not been disclosed, was arrested from Cantonment area of Lahore.
The face cuts of the alleged suspect resembled to the sketch released by police in a bid to arrest the perpetrators of Zainab murder.
Police said that they have also traced the location of suspect’s mobile in Kasur.
The suspect would be handed over to Kasur police after DNA test.
DIG Operations, Haider Ashraf said that Lahore police have been asked to provide every assistance and support to Kasur Police into Zainab’s case.
