BAHAWALPUR : One death row prisoner has been executed in the New Central Jail Bahawalpur early on Tuesday.
The death row convict Zulfiqar alias Nana was sent to gallows for murdering four police officials during an encounter in 1997.
He was sentenced to death in 2001. Zulfiqar’s dead body was handed to his heirs after the execution.
