MULTAN: Kidnapping for ransom case has been lodged against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member Provincial Assembly Zaheer Uddin Khan Alizai on Friday.
PTI’s MPA was paid ransom money worth Rs.12 million for the release of his son, according to complainer Bader Muneer.
An FIR of kidnapping for ransom was logged against PTI MPA Zaheeruddin Alizai, elected from PP-194, Police said.
According to the case-15/643, Badar Muneer told police that his son, Mehar Badar was abducted one and half year ago and the ransom money was paid to PTI MPA Zaheer for freedom of his son.
Police registered the case against 13 people including the MPA.
