ISLAMABAD: Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah Friday demanded of the government to announce compensation for the victims of Gaddani ship fire tragedy equal to the victims of railway accident.
In a letter to Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Khursheed Shah said that at least 26 labourers lost their lives in the incident and several others were injured.
The opposition leader said as it was a tragic incident, action should be taken against the responsible. Khursheed Shah also demanded comprehensive investigation into the incident.
