KARACHI: Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly (NA) Syed Khursheed Shah has declared the decision of chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan regarding withdrawal of November 02, protest demonstration as political U-turn.
Talking to a private TV channel here on Tuesday, Khursheed Shah said that Imran ‘spoiled the curry’ by taking back his decision of holding demonstration against corruption.
What was the purpose of the mobilizing the people, taking them to streets, forcing them to face baton charge, tear gas of police and then stepping back of the commitment to hold protest against the misdeeds of the government, he questioned.
Khursheed Shah said that PTI chief should have done it long before which he did after creating anarchy and causing huge losses besides disrupting the routine life of the citizens across the country especially in cities neighbouring the federal capital Islamabad.
The Opposition Leader in NA claimed that PTI leaders were also not pleased with the decision taken by the party chairman but they were forced to accept the decision as Imran don’t like to consult anyone in taking decision.
