Opposition leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah complained the smaller provinces were being neglected by the federal government, depriving their rights and hiding details of Pakistan-China Economic Corridor.
However, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif responded his complain by saying that nobody should worry about the project as re-briefing would be made on the economic corridor project.
Continuing the address during NA session today, Khursheed Shah said that senior officers were being neglected in Sindh and Balochistan while PM must take notice over delay in promotions of the officers from smaller provinces.
He said that no reply comes forth whenever attempt is made to make PM aware about the disappointing situation. Shah threatened to lodge protests if the matter left unnoticed.
Responding the complains of the opposition leader, Khawaja Muhammad Asif assured to remove all reservations over the economic corridor project, hence, nobody should make worries about it. He revealed that PM will call meeting against as last briefing session was left incomplete.
It should be mentioned that the last session called up to provide briefing over Pakistan-China Economic Corridor was badly interrupted due to Safora Goth incident in Karachi on May 13, 2015.
