Federal Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif has dubbed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shireen Mazari a ‘tractor-trolley’ and called her ‘aunty’ during the National Assembly session on Wednesday.
As per details, the federal minister was briefing at the NA session about power situation in the country, he said there is no loadshedding in the country during iftar and Sehar.
In the meantime, PTI MNAs rejected the minister’s claims and raised voice. On that, Khawaja Asif called Sherry Miari as tractor trolley and called her aunty.
On hearing harsh comments, tears rolled down from Shireen Mazari’s eyes.
“Men should not be allowed to refer to women by using such derogatory words,” Shireen Mazari says.
Speaker NA Ayaz Sadiq while commenting on the incident said that, “Members of Tehreek -e -Insaf must know about the session traditions.”
