Kashmiris to continue freedom struggle till liberation: AJK PM

MIRPUR: Strongly condemning the continued massacre of innocent kashmiris by Indian occupational forces in occupied Kashmir, AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan Monday said by defying curfew and other restrictions the valiant people of occupied Kashmir celebrated Pakistan’s Independence Day with traditional zeal and fervor.

Addressing the rally in the capital city on Monday, Farooq Haider underlined that Kashmiris’ deep rooted love and affection with Pakistan was crystal clear as people in occupied Kashmir celebrated independence day of Pakistan with great enthusiasm by staging forceful pro-Pakistan rallies and demonstrations by hoisting Pakistani flags in every nook and corner of the occupied valley.

“Thousands of people defied curfew and took to streets in Kulgam, Islamabad, Pulwama, Bandipora and other districts in the occupied valley  and raised high-pitched pro-freedom and pro-Pakistan slogans without taking care of the Indian reign of state terrorism”, the AJK Prime Minister said.

The mammoth public rally to mark Indian independence day as Black Day in the state capital was staged with Prime Minister of AJK Farooq Haider in the chair. Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Siraj ul Haq especially participated in the gathering.

Deputy Speaker AJK Legislative Assembly Sardar Farooq Tahir, member Assembly Dr. Bashir Mustafa, member AJK  Council Pervez Awan and other leaders of various national and regional political parties were also present on the occasion.

The Prime Minister and other speakers on the occasion expressed solidarity with the oppressed people of Indian occupied Jammu & Kashmir.

Meanwhile Kashmiris living in Azad Jammu Kashmir, occupied Kashmir and all over the world observed India’s independence day as Black Day on Monday.

Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and across the globe observed the Indian Independence Day as Black Day to convey to the international community that India had usurped their inalienable right to self-determination.

Protest rallies and functions were held in the liberated territory and in the world capitals to highlight different dimensions of the Kashmir dispute and Indian atrocities on innocent Kashmiris.
