CHICAGO: Under blazing sun, scores of people staged a demonstration in front of Indian Consulate in Chicago Tuesday to protest the killings of Kashmiris in Indian occupied Kashmir and calling on the U.N. to implements it’s resolutions on the longstanding dispute.
The protesters raised vociferous anti-India and carried placards such as “Indian Troops: Get Out of Kashmir”, “Stop Killing Kashmiris”, and “Kashmir is for Kashmiris”.
The protesters condemned the recent killing of more than 45 innocent Kashmiris and urged the International community to play its role for resolution of the oldest unresolved issue on United Nations’ agenda.
The protestors backed the decades-long struggle of Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination which has been given a boost by the youth of Indian occupied Kashmir.
