Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Syed Ali Gilani while welcoming the OIC Secretary General Iyad bin Amin Madani’s statement on the grim situation in Kashmir, said the world’s largest Muslim body Organization has acknowledged the universally accepted fact about the disputed nature of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to KMS, Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar however maintained that resolutions and press briefings alone would not soothe Kashmiris’ wounds.

“Our stand has always been that people of whole Jammu and Kashmir which existed in 1947 should be given the choice to decide their future and the decision will be acceptable to all.”

“OIC should have been dipping deep into the problems and issues faced by Muslim Ummah and should have come to the rescue of suffering people, but unfortunately past experience with OIC has not been so encouraging.”
