The third round of talks between Pakistan and India on Kartarpur Corridor will take place at Attari today (Wednesday).

Talking to media, Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal — who is leading the Pakistani delegation — said Pakistan hopes for expedited progress in this round of talks to finalize the agreement on Kartarpur.

He added Pakistan is committed to opening the Corridor on the 550th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak.

Last week, Pakistan and India held the fourth round of technical level talks on the Kartarpur Corridor in a bid to finalise arrangements so that the project can be inaugurated by November this year.
