KARACHI: Karachi’s Red Zone on Thursday turned into a battleground when police subjected the protesting nurses to baton-charge and used water cannon to stop them from approaching the Chief Minister House.
The police detained over 30 protesting nurses including the leadership of Sindh Nurses Alliances, who were marching towards the CM House.
Several PTI MPAs including Dua Bhutto are among the protesters.
Scuffles were seen at several points between the lady police constables and the protesting nurses.
