KARACHI: The Karachi’s most busiest commercial thoroughfare I. I Chundrigarh has been closed on security reasons on Friday afternoon, a senior police official said.
DIS South Azad Khan said there was a threat of blowing State Life building located on the I. I Chundrigarh.
To carry out a clearance operation in the building and its adjoining areas, the road was closed from Tower to Shaheen Complex, he added.
Due to the closure, traffic jams were witnessed on roads in the adjoining areas.
