KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that the first monsoon spell will begin in Karachi from July 14.
In a statement on Thursday, it added that the first monsoon spell will continue till July 17.
Meanwhile, the Met Office has forcast drizzle for the city today. It added that the the maximum temperature will remain between 34-36 degrees in the port city.
Earlier, the Sindh’s Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) had directed the district authorities for adopting precautionary measures ahead of monsoon season.
