Karachi is expected to receive another spell of rain on August 28 and 29, the Met Office said on Monday.
According to Met office, a low pressure area is likely to form over the Bay of Bengal that may cause light rain in Karachi and other areas in lower Sindh.
Earlier this month, at least 12 people were killed due to electrocution and various other rain-related incidents during a monsoon downpour in the metropolis.
The rain recorded at almost 200 millimetres (mm), created a critical situation in the city as various areas were hit with hours-long power outages and urban flooding.
