KARACHI: Station House Officer (SHO) of Preedy police station Aijaz Khawaja was killed near Akhtar Colony on Korangi Road by unknown assailants, police said.
According to the police, the unknown gunmen opened fire on the SHO’s vehicle near Akhtar Colony on Thursday morning and the officer killed in the attack.
The assailants managed to flee from the scene after the incident.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) South has confirmed the incident and said that the assailants were riding on motorbike.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to the Jinnah Hospital Karachi.
