KARACHI: 10,353 accused have been arrested while conducting ongoing targeted operation in the metropolis Karachi, said Rangers officials.
Rangers officials said that 826 terrorists, 334 target killers, 296 extortionists and 82 kidnappers were arrested in Karachi operation. The operation was launched in Karachi on September 5th last year.
The officials said that they recovered 49 hostages and 7,312 illegal weapons in the targeted operations so far. They said in a statement that Rangers had killed 233 terrorists in Karachi. They hold 5,795 raids during the operation.
