Karachi factory fire put out

KARACHI: A factory located in Karachi area of Azizabad caught fire on early Friday, destroying goods worth millions of rupees.

The fire was brought under control after four hours of strained efforts.

Ten firefighters and a bowser took part in the operation to extinguish the raging blaze at the factory located near Mukka Chowk in Bhingoria Town of Azizabad.

The fire was categorised as a second degree by the firefighters.

According to the owner of the factory, the fire was caused by short circuit.

The warehouse crew were rescued to safety. The firefighters said the strong winds hampered their efforts to put out the fire.
