Karachi: The Karachi Nuclear Power Plant-2 (KANUPP) will start generating electricity from April next year.
This was stated by a spokesperson for the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC).
He said that the country’s second nuclear power plant is near completion.
He said that the KANUPP-2 is capable of generating 1,100 megawatts.
The spokesperson said that the process of putting the atomic material into the nuclear power plant has been started.
