The Haramain Sharif administration has announced the plan for Ramazan.

According to the administration, the Mataf, the open white circumambulation area around the Holy Kaaba in the Grand Mosque in Makkah, will be allocated exclusively for people performing Umrah during Ramazan.

The Mataf is being allocated for Umrah pilgrims for easy performance of rituals.

Apart from this, only pilgrims performing Tawaf during Ramazan can perform Tawaf of the Kaaba from the upper floors.

The Haramin administration said that Imams for Taraweeh and Tahajjud prayers have also been appointed for the holy month of Ramazan.

During the holy month of Ramazan, hundreds of thousands of people gather for prayers and supplications at the Grand Mosque.

Muslims focus on their spiritual relationship with Allah and on charitable deeds during the holy month.
