KARACHI: Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that K-Electric and Federal Ministry for Water and Power responsible for heat wave deaths in Karachi.
While talking to the media in Abbasi Shaheed Hospital he said that hundreds of people were died of heat and prolonged load-shedding in Karachi. He said that K-Electric earned billion of rupees profit but had not spent a single penny on the system.
Memon said that K-Electric had not repaired its outworn system. He warned K-Electric to upgrade its system. He said that 27 doctors among 140 ghost employs had been terminated in Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. He termed privatization of K-Electric a tragedy.
