Karachi Electric (K-Electric) has increased the price of electricity by 57 paisas per unit on Tuesday.
“The rates have been increased in bill adjustments,” K-electric spokesperson told the media.
The price of furnace oil has been decreasing in international market, K-electric still has increased the prices.
The oil prices are rapidly decreasing in global market and have reached its lowest $28 barrel in the last 23 years.
