Justice Saqib Nisar took oath as Acting Chief Justice of Pakistan at a ceremony in Islamabad on Thursday.
Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa administered the oath to him.
Justice Mian Saqib Nisar will act as Chief Justice of Pakistan during the period Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali remains abroad.
