ISLAMABAD: The government has announced the appointment of Justice Gulzar Ahmed as the new Chief Justice of Pakistan here on Wednesday.
President Dr Arif Alvi has approved the appointment of Justice Gulzar Ahmed.
As per the notification issued by the Ministry of Law, Justice Gulzar Ahmed will assume the office of the Chief Justice on December 21.
Chief Justice Asif Saeed Khosa is retiring on December 20.
