KARACHI: All the arrangements have been in finalised for the funeral prayers of singer-turned-preacher Junaid Jamshed at AKD Ground in DHA Phase 8 after Zuhr today (Thursday).
Earlier his funeral was scheduled at the Moin Khan Academy but the venue was changed to AKD Ground earlier today.
Heavy contingents of Rangers and police have been deployed at the venue.
Body of Nahya Jamshed, his wife, has been transferred to CMH Lahore. Her funeral prayers will be offered in a mosque near her residence in Askari 10.
She will be buried in Cavalry Ground graveyard, while a ‘Rasm-e-Qul‘ will be held in Islamabad.
