Fazl says PTI ready to dissolve KP govt, quit assemblies for new elections

PESHAWAR: Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) Maulana Fazlur-Rehman has stressed on the need for removing concerns of all stakeholders over China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.

Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, Fzal-ur-Rehman said that CPEC is a project of national interest and all provinces should be equally benefitted of its outcome.

He said that government must satisfy the stakeholders over the investment of China in Pakistan in various development projects especially CPEC project.

The JUI-F chief called for of developing national consensus for economic development of the country which was the need of the hour to overcome the prevailing crises.

Fazal said that reports of change in route of CPEC project have created distress among the political parties and their reservation must be removed.

“We don’t want deadlock over the issue, but government should also inform the stakeholders about the realities in this regard and avoid obscuring the facts,” he added.
