Judicial remand extended to accused in Fahad murder case

ISLAMABAD: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Friday extended judicial remand of two accused nominated in murder case of Barrister Fahad Malik till October 20.

ATC Judge Syed Kausar Abbas Zaidi heard the case of nephew of former Chairman Senate Muhammad Mian Sumroo.

The two central accused in the case Raja Arshad and Nauman Khokhar (Nomi Khokhar) produced in the court amid the high security.

During the course of proceeding, Raja Arshad’s spouse expressed her mistrust over Superintendent of Police Captain (R) Alyas Ahmed who was heading the investigation.

The court directed the Investigation Officer (IO) to produce case challan on the next hearing.

It is pertinent to mention here that the two accused were nominated in murder case of Barrister Fahad Malik who was nephew of formerChairman Senate Muhammad Mian Sumroo.

The accused allegedly shot dead Barrister Fahad Malik when he was going from Shalimar Police Station to his house in F-10 sector.
