LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer, Senator Siraul Haq said judgment day of Pakistani rulers was not so far as the corrupt elements will have to face accountability.

Sirajul Haq while addressing press conference in JI headquarters Mansoora on Wednesday said that government did not learn any lesson from Dhaka incident and kept criminal silence over executions of JI Bangladesh leadership. He termed this silence as cowardliness and apathy of Pakistani rulers.

The Senator said the JI Bangladesh leaders were facing death sentences over their support to Pakistan but the rulers turned a blind eye by terming it as internal matter of Bangladesh.

The JI Ameer said that he urged high-ups of Pakistani government including Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar and Foreign Office (FO) to raise strong voice on international forums against ongoing bloodshed in Bangladesh. He complained for lack of response by any high-up over the matter.

He said elders of the nation faced prison cells due to supporting Pakistan in 1971 war while now they were facing death penalties. He urged rulers to make arrangements for thousands of pro-Pakistan people who were captivated by Bangladeshi Prime Minister Hasina Wajed.

Sirajul Haq warned the government to face severe consequences if they kept sleeping over the matter as the forthcoming protest outside Prime Minister Secretariat could be transformed into protest campaign to be spread across the country.
