Karachi: Sindh government spokesperson Murtaza Wahab on Tuesday said that unemployed political leaders were talking about the governor rule in the province.

Taking a jibe at the PTI leader Shamim Naqvi, Wahab said that there was no mention of emergency rule in the Article 235 but in the Article 234.

He (Shamim Naqvi) is unemployed, therefore he holds press conference daily. I pray to Allah to give him an employment, Wahab added.

He said that rumours of governor rule had  been spread several times in the past.

Opposition in Sindh was doing politics of accusations, Wahab added.

Earlier, opposition leader in Sindh Assembly Firdous Shamim Naqvi had demanded imposition of emergency rule under the ‘Article 235’.

The PTI leader had said that situation in Sindh was getting worse rapidly. There is no harm in enforcing governor rule in the province, he added.

Responding to the PTI leader, Murtaza Wahab said that the Sindh government had set up a hospital in Gambat, where treatment is provided free-of-cost. About the Jinnah Hospital’s Cyber Knife Unit, he said that patients from abroad come there for treatment.

He was of the view that Sindh was the only province which is delivering to the masses.
