JI’s train march against corruption to reach Karachi on May 27

KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Ameer Engr. Naeem-ur-Rehman has said that the culture of corruption among ruling class has ruined the entire political system and the country as well.

He expressed these views on Thursday, while visiting a camp, setup at the cant station area, in connection with the train march scheduled to be reached in Karachi tomorrow (on Friday). He inspected the arrangements, being made in connection with the train march, and expressed his satisfaction over the situation.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that corruption has not only been hitting hard to the economy of the country but also has become a grave threat to the survival of Pakistan.

He said that the rulers have been shaltering the corruption for their own monitory benefits while compromising over the security of the state. He said that the rulers both on traisery as well as opposition benches have off shore assets. He raised the point that how foreign investors would trust in the country when our own rulers have been investing abroad. The JI leader was of the view that there is a concensis among the entire nation that corruption will not be tolerated. He said that the corrupt leaders will have to stepdown.

Further talking about the march, he said that the JI’s train march against corruption is the true reflection of aspiration of the Pakistani nation. He vowed that the struggle against corruption will remain continue till the elimination of corruption and corrupt elements from Pakistan. He was of the view that the corrupt leaders of this nation are about to meet their logical end.

Focusing on Karachi, he said that the megalopolis with a populace of 25 million individuals have only a couple of university. He said that this state of affairs is evident over the interests of the rulers.
