LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan chief Sirajul Haq strongly condemned the Quetta gun attack which killed four policemen on Saturday.
In a statment released from party headquarters, Sirajul Haq while vociferously condemning the attack termed the brutal gun attack a ‘cowardly’ act.
The JI Ameer (chief) condoled with the families of martyred policemen while requesting them to remain patient in this hour of grief.
He also prayed to God for the departed souls.
A sub inspector and three other police officers were killed as unknown assailants opened fire on a police van in Quetta.
The gunmen opened fire on a police van in Pashtunabad area of Quetta city, killing a sub inspector, driver and two police officers on the spot.
