JI to take out anti-corruption march

KARACHI: In connection with its ‘Corruption Free Pakistan’ campaign, the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi is going to take out a march against corruption on April 10, 2016.

This was decided at a highlevel meeting of the JI Karachi office bearers, held at its headquarter. The JI Karachi has also taken its allies and tranches on board so as to gather suggestions and ensure a massive march.

Speaking on the occasion, JI Karachi Amir Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has said that the country cannot achieve progress, prosperity and development without eliminating corruption.

He said that corruption is the main hurdle for masses in general and poor in particular from acquiring basic facilities and even justice.

The JI leader said that the party would continue its campaign against all types of corruption and vowed that the movement would met its logical conclusion of eliminating the corrupt elements from the corridors of powers.

JI leader Usama Razi also expressed his views on the occasion. Referring to the Panama leaks, he said that the corruption of the ruling regime have been proved at local as well as international levels.

He urged the party workers to contact each and every member of the society to sensitize him over the importance of the issue and get him agreed to join the hands of JI against corruption and corrupt elements.
