KARACHI: Jamaat-e-lslami (JI) Karachi has decided to hold Pakistan Zindabad Rally on 9 August 2015 (Sunday) to make the Independence Day Celebration and boost pro-Pakistan sentiments among citizens.
JI Chief senator Sirj-ul-Haq will lead the rally which will be taken out from Nipa Chowrangi to mausoleum of Quadi-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
JI Karachi chief Naeem-ur-Rehman inaugurated the central camp at Nipa on Friday and distributed national flags among passersby and commuters.
Addressing the workers, Rehman said that JI represents Karachiites and has decided to celebrate the Independence Day with patriotic fervor, which is a much needed act, particularly in this changing national scenario.
