KARACHI: The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) led huge public gathering entitled ‘Ummate Rasool Peace Be Upon Him PBUH March’ concluded in Karachi.
Thousands of participants including women and children were attending the public event organised at renowned Shahrah-e-Quaideen road of Karachi. Several JI leaders delivered their addresses during the event.
The march was being led by JI Pakistan Ameer, Senator Sirajul Haq, in order to protest against ongoing atrocities in Myanmar and Aleppo to target innocent Muslims.
During his address, Sirajul Haq strongly criticised criminal silence of Muslim rulers. He urged the rulers to demand appropriate representation in the United Nations (UN) to secure rights of more than 1 billion Muslims around the world.
He also demanded to form another powerful platform of all Muslim countries to start trade markets and united military. He said Muslims across the globe needed to show unity and struggle to eradicate all kind of atrocities and crisis.
