JI IOK urges peaceful solution of Kashmir dispute

In occupied Kashmir, the Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami of occupied Kashmir, Abdul Hameed Fayaz, has called for peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute through tripartite talks in line with the UN resolutions.

Abdul Hameed Fayaz addressing a meeting of district heads and secretaries of Jamaat-e-Islami at its central office in Srinagar, today, urged the party cadres to carry on the mission of Jamaat in accordance with its constitution. He also called for utilizing every peaceful effort including the modern means of communication to make the common masses aware of the real objectives of Jamaat which are human-friendly based on equality of every human being before the Creator without the discrimination of caste, color, creed or region.

The Jamaat chief while reiterating its stand about the Kashmir dispute made it clear that Jamaat wished a peaceful resolution of this long pending human issue in accordance with the UN resolutions and through tripartite talks, keeping the aspirations of the concerned people in view.

He urged both the neighboring countries of India and Pakistan to initiate meaningful dialogue along with the real peoples’ representatives of Jammu and Kashmir for finding out an acceptable and permanent solution to this critical issue in accordance with the wishes and aspirations of the people concerned.
