KARACHI: Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Sindh chief Dr. Merajul Huda Siddiqui along with his team has intensified the campaign in connection with the workers convention.
The two days convention has been scheduled to be held on November 26 and 27 at Bag-e-Jinnah in Karachi.
A large number of JI’s delegations have approached religious scholars, professionals and intellectuals across the Sindh province to invite them to the convention.
Dr. Siddiqui and JI Karachi chief Engr. Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman also visited the venue where they met with the JI workers busy in preparations for the program.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Siddiqui said that the convention is being held at a time when the country has been passing through crucial times.
He said that the event would propagate a message of hope, valor and unity among the nation.
The JI leader expressed his satisfaction over the arrangements and directed the party workers to pace up their efforts so as to make the convention a big achievement. He said that in the wake of 2018 general elections and JI’s ongoing campaign against corruption, the event is a turning point for the JI’s struggle.
The two days convention will be culminated on a public gathering. Prominent figures from across the Muslim world would be visiting the historic convention.
