JI holds protest against blasphemous caricatures in Karachi

Karachi: The Jamaat-e-Islami, Karachi, held a protest demonstration today (Wednesday) at the Karachi’s Teen Talwar area against the blasphemous caricatures in France.

A large number of people from all walks of life took part in the protest that strongly condemned France for initiating an anti-Islam campaign.

The protesters were carrying placards and banners inscribed with slogans condemning France for unleashing anti-Islam campaign.

They also torched an effigy of French President Emmanuel Macron.

JI Karachi Ameer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman and JI MPA Syed Abdul Rasheed addressed the participants of the protest demonstration.

They said that France had exposed its disgusting face to the world.

Later, JI Karachi Ameer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman submitted a memorandum to the French consulate.
