JI for elimination of political terrorism

KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has said that the ‘Karachi operation’ is not the sole solution but elimination of political terrorism is also compulsory to mitigate the miseries of the megalopolis.

He expressed these views while inaugurating the election office at Union Council 18, from where he is contesting the local government (LG) polls.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the JI and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) would bring back the glory to the city. He urged youngsters to come forward and join the struggle to change their own fate.

He further said that youth is the future of the country and the fresh blood should take the lead in this journey of a peaceful revolution through ballot.

Highlighting the services of JI, rendered for the city, he said that Nematullah Khan, in his tenure, did tremendous work for the development and progress of the city. He launched a large number of projects and bring Karachi a new shining face and identity. He also vowed to continue the journey of success and achievement for the city.

Engr. Naeem also said that the JI would utilize the revenue, earned from the city, within the city, instead of following those who invested abroad to fulfill their nefarious desires.

He was of the view that both the JI and the PTI do not posses any stain of corruption and their coalition provides masses with an opportunity to change the fate of the city
