KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi chief Engineer Haifz Naeem-ur-Rehman has demanded of the government to fix those spreading confusions over Malir Development Authority (MDA).
Talking to a delegation of MDA employees at the JI headquarters, he said that Malir deserves betterment and confusion game should come to an end in connection with the employees of MDA.
Earlier, the MDA employees delegation appraised the JI leader over their issues. They said that a total of 34 blue eyed employees from various departments had been sent to MDA on deputation. The privileged officials had been posted against key posts in the authority.
They said that top guns in provincial government have been issuing confusing statements, creating an impression that all the staff of the authority is on depution.
The delegation made it clear that staffers from Karachi Development Authority were sent to MDA on its inception to run the newly constituted authority. At that time, all the staffers were switched, not deputed, to the MDA. Currently there are only 34 employees in MDA, who are on depution.
They pleaded the JI to raise their voice and demanded that the officials in the authority on deputation be sent to their mother institutions.
